Chocolate Banana Cake!

A CAKE! I know some of you might be wondering where I have disappeared to. Well been hiding in the kitchen experimenting of course! =) I made some stuff over the weekends and have yet to post them, still getting the hang of this blog thing. But yes your eyes are not fooling you, finally a cake has made it's presents into my blog! *joys* As some of you know I bake cakes everyday at work, literally haha! so I try to avoid cakes at home sometimes but oh well I'm here to please everyone =). For one reason is that I don't have all the equipment to make it all pretty and fancy and I'm starting to get a little fat from all the cakes I see everyday! *faints*

How exciting my first chocolate banana cake! =) It's not very big so it was still manageable. I had white chocolate mousse and chocolate ganache to fill the wonderful luscious layers of chocolate cake. I had a hard time assembling the layers as I used whipping cream and mousse which practically 'died' outside the fridge. Hence the not so nice icing. Daddy was complaining how ugly it looks like but ya I can still blame the lack of equipment for now! hahahaha! For the top I made chocolate curls which was really easy and white chocolate buttons. A bar of chocolate and a veggie peel! Cantik kan? well for first attempt la...

cupcakes!

Yes yes there were still some to fill cupcakes! Taadaa! Mini versions of the bigger cake! Moist chocolate cake with sweet banana and chocolaty chocolate plus smooth cream and mousse! hehehe.

With all the cake scraps I make chocolate balls covered with nuts haha. Sound wrong yea? Even my cousins said so! LOL =).My family ate the cake and some of my lucky aunts and cousins came at the right time! =) Too bad my white mice didn't get any but I saved some cupcakes though! So didn't really missed out hehe.

Best weekend!!! *smiles and hearts everywhere*

=) Nooooooo I didn't make the food up there..hehe awww disappointment no? Anyway I know this is suppose to be a blog on what I make, but just to make it a little bit more personal I decide to share a bit of what happens in my life too! Which of course includes food! haha Some of you might know that last weekend or rather last last weekend, well just November 14th was my birthday! *yay! joys* I had a wonderful weekend and one of the best birthdays of my 19 years of life =) thanks to my dear family, friends, * gossip kakiS* and of course my white mice hehe.

Tiramisu and Choco Meringue!

It all started the night before, my dear kawans came and gave me the shock of my life *nearly died* Thank god they didn't record any of it for future embarrassment but yeah they were *entertained*. Soon they kidnapped me to some place very suspicious and they keep saying it's a chan place *canto for very lousy* Made me even more worried. As soon as we arrived I screamed oh my god! Su Chan! Cake! (it's a famous cake place that I've always wanted to visit) We went in and it was kinda empty so we made all the noise we wanted to as usual hehe and stuffed our faces with cakes! Tiramisu was super awesome! Pictures explains much.

I'm so gonna get killed after this but revenge is fun! haha! After stuffing ourselves we wanted to hang out longer but the place was closing *stares* so we moved to another more usual spot! haha mamak and continued. As I was rushing home before 12, not curfew, they were taking me around for a nonsense drive trying to make me late, but at the end they let me go just in time =) *hearts my friends* And I got another surprise at 12! *smiles* pweety cake for me! haha but I ate it all before I got a chance to take a picture of it, too bad you who didn't see it! Soon next day came yay! and thanks to everyone who wished me so nice of you all to remember! =)

I went to one of my favourite place! Swensens for ice-cream *jumps in excitement* Love ice cream! I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice-Cream! Thanks to someone who brought me there, already made my day!

Hehe my white mice and my baby boo! *waves smiles* He's eating my ice-cream cause it's nicer! Told you! Hehe! *hearts* But his one was nice too =)

Spaghetti! 

After our little outing, I had spaghetti for dinner made by my white mice, that's a first, I made him a sandwich too! But he ate it all before I got the chance to take pictures of it, yums! another plus point for the day!

As the weekend continued my family brought me for Italian food! Which was awesome! Family outing! =)

Nero Vivo!

My sister and brother-in-law brought us to Nero Vivo in KL. The place was like Ooooooooo when you go in. Well let me just show you.

We popped over to Pavillion for a while after that just to see around. At the end of the weekend I had a awesome-mess time! Oh thanks to my boss who gave me off and the pressie!! =)

Pancakes! Wake up with a smile =)

hi ya! =) What's the first thing on your mind when you just wake up? Hmmm for me, sometimes,sometimes la, What's for breakfast? =) hehe. So on one of those beautiful mornings, *fairytale-nya* lol! , I made pancakes! It's not my first time anyway and it's pretty easy..you can find all the stuff you need just right in your  kitchen too! I bet you're wondering, omg veggie pancake? yer.........NOoooooo it's really good! Just wait till I tell you what's inside =)

savoury pancake!

In this plate we have the savoury pancakes! =) I made small little rounds of pancakes then spread creamy mayo on it and stack yummy on top of each other..First a slice tomato and a leafy green veg then another pancake and bacon! Salty and smoky bacon flavour wins it all! then another pancake and to top it all off! cheeseeeeeeeeee hehe..Sounds delicious doesn't it? oh I had some cheese in between as well. It's kinda like a pancake burger I guess hehe. On the sides I made little stars and hearts out of the not-so-round pancakes~! Sprinkle bacon bits and chopped tomatoes around! Told you it would sound good!

Sweet! =)

I made a classic flavour for the sweet pancake =) Layers of banana on top of each other, in between fluffy pancakes..Oooooo it makes you wanna run to the nearest Paddington Pancake! Of course theirs are a lot nicer than mine. Drizzled with sweet syrup and sprinkle with toasted almond to give it a little aroma and crunch! oh oh!! chocolate rice sprinkles! do you see it?hehe I wanted to put vanilla ice cream but don't have =(.

Well initially I made this for my little white mice for breakfast =) but then........too bad! missed it =( I'll make again for you la! hehe .Hope you all enjoyed the pictures! Go try make some it's real easy! I shall update real soon bout my birthday weekend! Filled with delicious food, sweetness, special people and smiles! =) happy!!

Chicken Potatoes and Alot of Stuff Pie!

Hi all! =) Sorry for the late late update this week hehe been a little busy here and there. Well not exactly VERY busy but a bit of lazy-ness was involved too. But I was busy! I actually made this last week, some of you might know and it has already reached this week! hehe sorry blog readers! You must be think...what's that? Don't look like pie to me. You will soon find out! Here's some clues for you...=)

hahaha! confused yet? So actually......it's chicken pie with...potatoes,carrots, mushrooms, onion and obviously chicken! I made a delicious flaky flaky crusts for the yummy creamy and savory filling! Even though the also so flaky crusts was good it was too salty! =( almost killed my white mice. But it's better than maggie mee ok! I made big one like that one right above and some mini ones!

So then what's this yellow thing in a cup? After making those delicate pies I realise I still had some filling left! What to do? what to do? hmmm... whoala! filled cups with filling and topped it with....Creamy smooth mashed potatoes! Kinda like an improvised Shepard's Pie. After being baked the mashed potatoes where crusty on the top but still soft on the inside.How awesome is that! =)
